Re: GoPro Hero 5 takes 11 seconds to turn off

No, the power off issue is fixed, but there's another issue with my camera that can't be fixed with software. When I power the camera down and leave it for a few hours, the battery is completely dead. I charged my GoPro yesterday to 100% and now, about 20 hours later it's at 0% while I haven't use the camera and it was powered off the whole time.

What SD card (make/model/size) are you using?

Re: GoPro Hero 5 takes 11 seconds to turn off

Understood.    check to see if what is turned on and off. make sure you have wake up voice OFF, and voice command only on. wi-fi  lucky the hero 7 and Hero 6 are now the better and will turn off wifi in  8 minutes (arguement sake) and drain 1% a day. not 100% a day.       agree check the sd card you have and  also remove it and test it out without a card? for drain.

If this is a New camera do not hesitate to  return for a new one if it is passed the return policy then you have time. to  figure the issue out.
