Yes its all official gopro. the frame for sure and the interior button is SOFT of the frame. mine has worn I might use mine way more then you can imagine and i wore itout. I use my camera with the frame, I use it without the frame , I do not use any waterproof cases. And I d not go in water. have a hero Session if I want to dunk I won't dunk the hero blacks just the sessions wht they are ment for, for me. For the rubber housing I may be good to dunk I do no thave a shell to see if any way water can enter in that area?
By pulling up a shell image that is a cover for sure over a switchboard and water can enter in so yes it's no longer waterproof, if I pop open I have to find theright glue, do you think gopro will offer the glue they use or tell us, NO! so if I pop her open to fix I take the chances of the camera again not being waterproof but theswitch fix, a catch 22. If done right it will be waterproof. I choose to leave alone and use it.. Put the frame on youhave no idea it was like that?
FOr theAmbrella chip Vs the GP-1 chip shut down. gopro says this is software and hardware, happy it shuts down and no issues that is the bottom line.

Well since the rubber cover is all gone on your GoPro, would you mind posting a closeup picture of the "down under"?
Thanks.

@stanleym7236 thank you for asking its also noted early on here and elswehwere. As close as I can get, and cropped, Sony HX90V cybershot. You can see a straight line of cuts? think Flex seal wil lwork they garanteed waterproof Lol!
My fingernails are aways growing . and maybe that can be part of it, just missing that micro switch as you can see? If gopro Made the button like hte Shutter I be better off. i am happy you find an interest in it, and the frame is a soft center press button as I felt it again.
For me likesaid not upset or worried my fix is again to buy the case and lcd but itworks, am happy.
