is the standart case of the GoPro Hero 5 waterprooved?

The camera is waterproof to 10m. The standard "case" is a frame instead of a waterproof housing like the older GoPro and competitors require. If you want extra protection or are diving deeper, then you can purchase the Super Suite, which is like the old waterproof housings.

The Hero5 does not require a housing.  Not only is the camera waterproof, but the protective lens is also removable and can easily be replaced if it is damaged.
