This is a problem with the camera that even GoPro support refuse to recongnise and admit is a fault. I've had 2 H5B cameras and both have had the same problem. I've found that if you switch the H5B on in full manual mode for example.. a locked/chosen ISO and a chosen shutter speed the footage will be out of focus in every video size. If you switch the H5B on in full auto mode for example.. auto ISO (max 400) and auto shutter speed the footage will be sharp. If you have switched the camera on in a full manual mode (settings as above) there is a way to clear it the soft footage.. You change the cameras mode to photo then back to video and now you'll have sharp footage! It's so odd! I'm so angry that GoPro have denied that there is a problem and it seems to be with every camera. Surely it's only a fireware fix.

Thanks for the input. So, if I'm understanding correctly, when setting the ISO/shutter manually your suggestion is to switch to photo mode after making the adjustment and then back to video so you will get the best image quality. Is this correct?
