GoPro Hero 5 Black won't connect to Google Pixel [ New ]

I will try that. I believe I have already, but will try again. At no point during all this has my phone ever wanted me to put in a password as seen on the go pro, ie climb2477

But the first frame ( the dome thing ) is actually from the previous clip I recorded.

I dont want to have to return this camera !

let me know if you can see the attached video.

PS: forgetting the wifi AP and then manually entering I was able to connect, will see if that continues to work.

I have wasted literally hours trying to get it connecting. Seriously unimpressed.

Hi @adriang0237,

Just to double check did this help:

1. On camera, go to Connections > Wi-Fi Band > choose 2.4 GHz.
2. On phone's wifi settings, forget the camera's AP. Then manually re-connect to it and enter the password. 
3. Launch the GoPro app.

Also I have not yet heard back from the team but I do believe they are aware of the issues and working on a fix. I will follow up again.

I just bought a hero 5 session and it will not connect to my pixel. When can we expect support for this issue? My first gopro exprience is far from meeting the expectations that come with the pricetag.
