I have a problem with the GoPro HERO5 Session when it comes to shooting in low light using the PAL 25fps setting. See the attached video screenshots - the image turns green. There is no issue when using NTSC and 30 fps.
It is already the second camera having this issue (the first one was exchanged).
I used the manual update procedure and installed the newest firmware (v2.51).
I restored the factory settings.
I tried different sd cards.
I did not change any other setting than the language (GERMAN) and the PAL/NTSC setting. In particular NO wrong white balance is used (NO protune mode).
Apparently, I am not the only one facing this problem: https://community.gopro.com/t5/Cameras/Gopro-Hero-5-Green-Images-in-Low-Light/td-p/15812. Although this thread is marked as solved, it is NOT (the problem is still present).
I need to use 25 fps because my other camera also uses this framerate.
Any futher suggestions? Seems like I have to find another brand of action cameras. It is my first GoPro camera - and I thought this brand stands for quality. It seems to be a software issue since also other models are affected (HERO5 Black in the link above).

I do not see it happening here as it wasa perfect low light situation for me. I demo'd Pal & Ntsc. re flash 2.51 or find an older version and try it. resolved b/c person said they updated worked for them. I am up/down and so many time re dated I see no issue. I see for me some red in my white find that normal in my eyes sorry I do not have a better answer for you.

Thanks for trying to reproduce the problem.
First please note that in the linked thread, the person who started it is rhegiey and the one who states that it is solved is eddiefrizz (another one!). rheggiey does not write that the problem is solved for him, and another user has the same problem.
Which camera did you try? Also the HERO5 session? Unfortunatly, the sound in your video is so bad, I can hardly understand you...
If you like to try to reproduce the problem, please turn off stabilisation (I just discoverd that I turned this off as well) and find a spot in in inside (only artificial light) such that part of the image is almost black and part is only dimly lit. I know that this is not a typical situtation for filming, but this is the way I can reproduce the problem. It also occurs randomly with more light (normal filming condition).
Then start the video and move around the camera. The problem occurs when real recording to SD card is started. So restart the video with different light settings for trying it out. Thanks!
I still hope that you are lucky not having this issue!
Where can I download an older version of the firmware?

I have 2 GoPro hero 5 session and both doing the same in PAL in low light, all getting green. With NTSC there is no problem but I’m in Europe and all my other equipment works in PAL and can’t change. Both cameras have the last firmware 2.51 which is released a year ago. I hope a new update to solve the issue.

I have tested my camera and did not encounter the issue.
I understand that both of your cameras have the latest version. As part of the troubleshooting steps, please run a manual software update. Instructions are listed once you get past the email address and serial number page.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply, I updated them once nothing happened, in 3rd attempt one of them began to work in PAL but when the shutter is at 1/25 the preview in app is green but the recording is fine, with protunes or not.
The second camera didn’t manage to solve the issue, I’ve try more than 10 times to update, the update finished normal with the checkmark but preview and recording remains green in PAL when shutter is 1/25 with protunes or not.
