I know what you mean.

A separate issue I know, but I also noticed that the Hero5 LCD at full brightness was much less bright than my Hero4 Silver, despite everything I read suggesting it should be brighter.

+1 cant believe that you cannot turn off the lcd, to save battery etc. a feature that was a staple on the hero 4. someone should be sacked
