GoPro Fusion stabilization problem
[ New ]Hi, I've been using GoPro Fusion for a week now, but there is a huge problem in my case. If I try to process footage that is longer than like 5 minutes the stabilization doesn't work at all and the result is really shaky. As long as I keep it below 5 minutes everything is just fine. I tested it in the perfectly same conditions with Fusion on the top of a helmet just making different durations of shots. I use the Fusion Studio version 1.2 so it should be up to date.

Windows 10, 6-core 4GHz, 16GB RAM
I was going to use the gear for upcomming sport event as a main gear, but as long as it's not reliable I'm quite dissappointed.
Thanks for reply.
David

Re: GoPro Fusion stabilization problem
[ New ]Hello @royalshore45073,
Thank you for sharing. This is interesting, albeit concerning. Is your Fusion camera updated to the latest firmware (v1.8)? Did you explore on the Anti-Shake and Full Stabilization options in Fusion Studio? See sample video here.
On this thread, @jefft suggested to "assure that the center of your frame is focused on a static object when you start the render." Although the issue seems to be associated with time, this is something you can check on.
Alternatively, you can get in touch with our Support team for a more personalized support on this matter. You can reach them via phone or chat through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs.
Thanks,
Marius

Re: GoPro Fusion stabilization problem
[ New ]Hi Marius,
thank you for your reply. I tried to mess around with the settings in Fusion Studio and also updated the firmware to the latest version with no result. I guess the problem (in my case) is in the file merging. As long as I keep it within one file - which is like 7 minutes in maximum duration - everything is fine. If I overlap the 7 minutes and make it into two or more files that has to be merged then the stabilization doesn't work. I'll try to buy some better sd cards to find out if that is the cause.
Thanks,
David
