GoPro 9 - Horizontal Line / Glitch

Hi, We have this horizontal line appearing across the preview screen. It just appeared suddenly, there is no damage to the camera. I shot some footage, stopped, recorded again and it was there.

 

The attached image is on horizon levelling.  Other settings it will be a solid horizontal line.  It also shows on video once transferred to laptop.

 

Not best pleased!  

 

Is there a process of arranging for GoPro to have this looked and repaired/replaced?

What SD card are you using in the camera and did you format the card in the camera before first using it?

Hi,

 

Yes - we have two SD Extreme Pro 128GB v30 A2 cards.  We formatted them when we got them approximately 6 months ago and use the camera fairly regulary.

 

 

Same issue with both cards.

If you haven't yet, please try re-fashing the software.

Follow the manual update steps on https://gopro.com/en/us/update/hero9-black

 

Let us know how it goes.
If it's still the same, please reach out to our Support Team through https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs to have this checked further.
Please have your camera's serial number and proof of purchase ready.
