GoPro 8 stops responding to voice commands

My GoPro8 has stopped responding to the voice command to Turn On. All others worked fine. Tried turning it off/on but this still failed. Had to reset to factory to get it working again. Seems like a hard way to reboot.

@brightmyway, make sure that you use the correct voice commands (see Voice Control Commands). If it still doesn't work, try performing a factory reset in your camera.

 

Additionally, reinstalling the firmware update of the camera can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229

Hello @easyroller54. Aside from the voice commands being on, do you also make sure that the Wake on Voice is enabled? To check, go to Preferences, then Voice Control, then Wake on Voice. Make sure it is set to On.

Me too same problem that wake on voice not working with gopro8!!!! Others work fine ps. Enabled wake on voice already.
