GoPro 7 - front LCD Burned? [ New ]

Is it normal, front LCD of GoPro 7 Black looks that way in the direct sunlight?

At home - in 'normal' light it seems to fine.

PS. My cam get extremly hot sometimes (can't even touch it, and yes I'm using the recommended SD card). Maybe there are some burn-ins in the LCD panel's background?

Has nothing to do with the camera getting hot or "burn-ins".

Yes, the camera does get hot, especially when recording at high resolution/frame rates and/or for long recordings. It's basically a small, compact, computer, sealed in a waterproof case.

hi,

it is about the polarized light that makes on the plastic this "burn" like colours.

you will see the same if you look through a plane window in direct sun.
