GoPro 7 black

My GoPro 7 black has a recording limit of 8:32, can this be changed to a continuous video recording, for up to or over an hour?

Re: GoPro 7 black

No, this is the normal way the camera functions it's called "File Chaptering" and it's done to preserve what you shoot.  if you shoot an hours worth of footage it will be broken up into several files about 7 minutes long.  That way if there's any read write errors, only a small section of shooting risks being damaged as opposed to the entire clip.

you just need to put your clips into a video editor and join them together when you are finished.  There are many paid and free editors to be found online.

If you have a gopro plus subscription and your camera has auto upload setup, the files in the cloud are joined for you...
