GoPro 6: screen flickering, freezing, corrupted files

Hi guys. Just bought GoPro 6. Manually updated with latest firmware. Using with SanDisk Extreme plus 64Gb v30 U3 A1. Checked with other cards (all SanDisks), same thing.

Symptoms:
1. When starting/during recording right half of the screen start to flicker. If recording survived, it’s damaged the same way (right half of the shot flicker)
2. Preview may work fine, but when recording started preview freezes... camera record one freezed frame for the whole length of the shot;
3. Recording may abruptly stop;
4. Camera freezes (controls not responding) for no apparent reason.

Ruined half of the shots for last 2 days... almost giving up. Please help.

Re: GoPro 6: screen flickering, freezing, corrupted files

Try these fixes, hope this helps..
1. You can use Plugins, like Premiere Pro, Avid, Resolve to avoid flickering
2. Try to play your videos on another media player like VLC
3. Try or update the latest version of your media player or drivers and reinstall the latest video or sound drivers
4. In case the manual fixes do not work, try a professional repair software like Stellar Video Repair
