GoPro 6 Black front and back screens are blank/black

Neither the front or back LCD screen will come on.  The camera seems to still be working though - it takes photos and videos.

This unit has been well taken care of.  Please advise it there is a fix for this.  I have already formated the microSD card also attempted to maually update the unit but it is hard to say if it updated since the screens are not coming on.

Hello @swiftgorge37027. Be sure that the SD card isn't inserted between the SD card slot and the battery compartment. Doing so can put pressure on the back of the touch display. 

 

If this isn't the case and the rear LCD touch screen display on your GoPro camera appears blank/black, you can try to perform a manual update. Follow the Manual Update instructions specified in this article: https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394229
