GoPro 3.5 mm adapter unavailable EVERYWHERE [ New ]

Where/how can I buy the microphone adapter? ONLY GoPro's official one works, and yet nobody has them including Adorama, Amazon, local shops, and GoPro's US store.

Super frustrating.

They come up in stock on the gopro.com accessory page periodically, but sell out quick (most likely due to people purchasing in bulk and then reselling on ebay). The Pro Mic adapter was just available a few days ago in fact. The only advice I can really give is to just keep checking. They usually come back up in stock every 2-3 weeks.
