I purchased two new gopro session 5's in January 2019. Can charge to full charge, but the charge is gone in 7 days while they sit in case unused. Is this normal? I would like to charge them and have them remain charged for when I want to use them 2 weeks later. Is there a setting that might be draining the battery while they are off?

Thanks for the response Ej. I may not have described my situation correctly. With the camera in the off mode, and not being used, the battery drains within 7 days. I would expect the battery to stay charged for longer than that if it is not being used. I have a Hero 4 that stays charged for a lot longer than that. I would expect GoPro quality to be such that a fully charged camera would hold the charge longer than 7 days. Something must be draining it. Does the Hero 5 Session camera have a bluetooth setting that constantly looks for a connection while the camera is off? is there anything else that may be running and draining the battery even though the camera appears to be turned off?

See if your camera's Connections are turned ON.
To check on your camera's battery performance, try do a test recording and see if your camera performs as expected.
As noted on the link shared, Maximum battery capacity will normally decrease with time and use.
In addition to this, camera battery performance is severely decreased in cold conditions.
You can also try re-flashing the software. https://gopro.com/update/hero5_session
