Re: Go pro phishing site reporting
[ New ]I just ended up at that same fake offer via a very official-looking Facebook ad; had I not known the price of a HERO9 already, I might have actually been fooled. Unfortunately, I closed Facebook, and can't find the ad to report it, but I took a screenshot with the date to show that scam site is still operational, in case that's helpful:

Re: Go pro phishing site reporting
[ New ]Aha! I found the aforementioned Facebook ad (well, not exactly the same, this one is a little more obviously fake, thanks being offered by "Sunday Club"). The page that posted it lists its email as isabellamacalister73043@yandex.com, which is like, the most scam address ever, and here's a screen shot for reference:

Thanks for sharing. We have reported this to the team in charge.
We suggest not to do any transactions with this site.
If you wish to purchase a camera, you may refer to https://gopro.com/en/us/shop/cameras
Regards,
Ej

Re: Go pro phishing site reporting
[ New ]Is there anything the team in charge can do to help customers or prospect customers that may be giving this phishing site their money?
This weekend a lot of people are going to be spending a lot of money and with all the specials from different companies, it will be easy to fall for this.
Your suggestion of "not to do any transactions with the site" is valid but not enough as not everyone does the due diligence to verify the validity of such sites.
