Go pro hero session 5 as card error [ New ]

So I ride a motorcycle and my buddy had this session 5 he just couldn't figure out why it kept saying sd card error he had bought a micro sd gigastone professional 633x 4k 30mb per second 512 gb card not could I so I did some digging on the issue and it turns out the card was to large really !!! Yes most hero 5 and below go pros can only handle up to a 128 gb card so I had him exchange it problem solved also purchased 64 and 32 gb cards from him for back up all ScanDisk and they work flawlessly as for any other issues we have had zero a little Google goes a long way lol thanks for listening.
