My Go Pro Hero has recently been taking only up to 2min of video before showing me the over heating warning and then switches off. This is in an indoors and cool enviroment. Thw camera itself doesnt feel warm. Any suggestions?

Try a full format of the card I also see if the battery is not to old, and if you need to get the camera back on you can long press the on/off for a good 4 seconds but it is best t o let hte camera cool down some.

I'm using a Lexar 633x 32gb microSD HCI. I'll try a diffrent SD and see if that helps

Thanks for the update, @estiv24. If using different SD cards still gives you the same results, I suggest that you try to re-flash the firmware update of the camera. This can help correct any errors with the current software installation. Follow the manual update instructions specified on this article: https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/How-to-Update-GoPro-Cameras
Should you still experience the overheating issue, despite you using a recommended SD card and the camera being updated to the latest firmware, let our Support team know. This way, they can help you with the next steps. You may reach them by phone or chat.

camera's can give at any given time reflashing may or may not solve the issue. Try a new card that is a UH-1 U3 rating Made for gopro. if all fails then you may need to contact gopro themselves over a phone line
