Have you tried using a different charging cable/adapter?
How is the camera(WITHOUT the battery) when plugged in directly?
If the camera turns on with this setup, the issue can be on the battery or the battery connectors.
As this is a recent purchase, you may reach out to the same store/channel you got the camera from.

GoPro does not have authorized repair centers.
You would need to have a case created with our Support Team.
I have just tested the chat session and was able to get through.
Please try again on your end.
