Go Pro Video Format

I do not own a go pro myself so forgive any ignorance!

As part of a scuba dive my divemaster took a lot of footage on his go pro. On reviewing the footage, it appears that it was taken in slightly less than real life slow motion (I'm guessing half speed?). I've added the media info at the bottom of this post. My questions:

1) Is there a way of telling what settings were used in creating these videos?

2) Is there a way of speeding up these videos to "real time"?

3) I am eventually going to recode these to h265 to save space (using handbrake), can I do 2) at the same time or are two passes an easier bet?

It's a 1080/50fps PAL format video filmed with an older model GoPro, Hero (2018), or just with Protune turned off. The playback looking slow must be due to the software or computer used. Most likely it's playing back at 30, 25, or 24 frames per second. As long as the playback speed is 50fps the playback speed will be normal.

As far as encoding, 1 pass will probably be fine as the bit rate is only 30 Mb/s. Be sure to set this as the target if you can. For two pass you usually set a target and a maximum but this is usually with higher bit rate videos. It won't hurt, but probably won't do much to help.

Daniel, you were bang on the money - the slow playback was due to the software and not the media. The video plays back perfectly on my phone. For anyone else with the same issue, I was using MPC-HC on Windows.
