Go Pro Hero 6 Timelapse

[ New ]

How do I know if I shot a timelapse photo vs. video?

How do I upload my timelapse using the GoPro app on my phone vs. laptop?

Hi @sunnyboost70177

Files recorded using time lapse (photo/ video) can be played on Quik as video file.

You may do your own research on how to stitch photos together.

There are also video tutorials available on YouTube.

Thanks!

Ej

the file will not say anything different so you hav o memorize  whatshots you did  and watc hteh clip, it will clearly show it sped up in an editor as well camera as well  file. that is  how you tell if asked. wished gopro would have put a time_0001 or topro etc... as a file name

When you look at your shots on the camera in the gallery view you should see an information line at the bottom of each thumbnail.  For a time lapse photo shoot there will be an icon of a camera with a clock behind it and the shot count to the right hand of it.  For a time lapse movie the icon is a video camera with a clock behind it and to the right there is the length of the video in minutes:seconds

In addition to this when you go into the time lapse photo there will be a scroll bar that you can move between the shots with, whilst the timelapse video will play the video.

Hi @sunnyboost70177,

You cab check that on the app.

If it is viewable as video it is timelapse video.

If it appears as series of picture it's a timelapse photo.

You can download them to your phone and upload/share.

If it's timelapse photo you need to stitch them or put them together using a computer with a video editing software installed such as adobe premiere.

Do you know how to stitch them together using iMovie?

Is it possible to do it in Quik?
