My gopro hero 5's usb type c port seems to have gone bad. When I plug in the cable the port is very loose and can shake freely. The gopro can no longer transfer data or charge. It seems like it was a bit loose from the factory but it kept getting worse. Does anyone have any advice?

Have you another cable to try, to rule that out? If it is the camera's board then you should contact gopro office and deal with Customer service phone numberss are on thedesktop website always o nthe bottom, for the Region you're in? Rather start forcing or breaking the type C cable or port, it may be best to transfer via a card reader, but the battery on the otehr hand will have to be cahrged via cable or external charger? sorry to hear bout your issues
