My new GoPro Hero 5 Black (bought in January) won't work. I have bought a new SD card that fits the specifications. Have downloaded the update files to this SD card and inserted as suggested in other threads. It will sometimes: turn on flash red lights and beep, then turn itself off; say SD card error; turn itself off; disable the menu buttons etc.
I am under the impression I have a faulty product. I am off on holiday in 2 weeks and would love to have this sorted beforehand.

I have the SanDisk extreme plus for action cameras. The camera sometimes works but as I said not all features are running smoothly. I have the latest updates as well.

I have the same problem as users of Hero5. The RAW images are much better than the jpeg images, but you can´t use them: the GOPRO Fusion Studio does not recognize RAW files. And if you adjust the RAW files and safe them as jpeg, GOPRO Fusion Studio won´t recognize the jpegs.
