GPS not working in GoPro 7 black [ New ]

GPS icon does not even appear, and it is activated. Tried outdoors...

If you tried outdoors and waited a few minutes to no avail, I would make sure you are in an unobstructed area (no tall buildings) and that the camera is not upside down or has some object/accessory on top of it (the GPS antenna is next to the Rec button).

When you say the icon does not appear, do you mean it's grayed out? Or not there at all? If it's not there, make sure GPS is on in the Regional settings

GPS works:

Get a lock make sure its locked by waiting a little longer, then you must use the GoPro app.  or if you want to find other peoplessoftware that will work stay tuned he'll pop in.  But in the mean time use racerender you will see it on there.
