GPS TELEMETRY DATA 🚀🚀 [ New ]

Hi everyone!!

I have a question about GPS telemetry data on my gopro hero 8. The issue is that I can only see the telemetric data of the gps in the GoPro app for mobile(android), just after taking the shot. As soon as I upload it to the cloud, or export it to quik, pc or android, all the data is lost, and this can be very frustrating.

Have you tried manually uploading the file?

Upload the file via gopro.com then check if the GPS information will be retained when viewing/downloading from the cloud.

This will help isolate the issue.

Please note that currently, Quik for desktop doesn’t support telemetry gauges for your HERO8 Black camera. We are focusing on adding this functionality to our latest GoPro Desktop application in the near future, but in the meantime, the GoPro App on iOS and Android can add telemetry gauges.

You may try 3rd party applications like Racerender or Dashware.

The GPS data is most likely not lost. It's just that Quik cannot read the Hero8 data.

Hi @aragon1006 thanks for you answer!!! Yes i tried to upload the file from the cloud, and, the thing is that only the video show gps data  if i recording from my phone with the camera paired. If i record with just the gopro,  there's no way any data will appear. I hope quik updates soon
