If I were you @spiryoasis1412 I find a way to actually show in photo and a story and present to a site and have members who are really interesteed in this to back you up. I love to see a positive outcome and a fix. All we ever hear on teh site is contact us so maybe it is fair to say. Not many her do care about this or that and they care about just having their own personal problem resolved. As you read the threads not many do hang and return only a select few. and mostly troubled camera users as they need to learn their products. Nuff said
no pun intended

While I certainly understand the frustration when a camera does not perform as advertised or expected, repeating the same post or trying to rallying others to your issue wont do much to further your cause. This particular issue was confirmed by a GoPro moderator and forwarded to the engineers. Resources, including time and people, have to be allocated to addressing firmware upgrades. As this has not been an issue mentioned frequently by other users of the Hero5 Session, and due to the fact that this camera has been discontinued, I personally don't see this as something that will manage to reach the top of the priority list.
Again, I'm not saying that GoPro will not address this issue.
Believe it or not, GoPro does care about the user experience.
Although GoPro is a major worldwide brand, this is not a huge company that we are talking about. Currently, the total head count (including positions such as shipping, sales, customer service, accounting, administrative, etc.,) is less than 1,000 employees world wide.
If a firmware update is already in the works, then perhaps this issue will be addressed in the near future. However, if it was not already on the roadmap, then most likely it will not.
Beyond just the programming aspect of addressing this issue, it is also possible that there are hurdles presented by the hardware itself. It might be that it is not possible to get the Hero5 Session to take time lapse at exactly 0.5 seconds. Since we are talking about such a small fraction of a second, it's very unlikely to be an issue for the majority of Hero5 Session owners (especially when you consider how few of these cameras were sold, the very small percentage of those users who actually do time lapse, and of those whom precise 0.5 second time laps matters).
BTW - it's not unusual for times to be rounded up or down for simplicity. For an example, on most cameras that state 30fps recording, most are actually recording at 29.97fps.
While I understand that in this particular case, exact timing is necessary for syncing to multiple cameras, the most helpful advice is simply this: You will need to change your workflow, cameras, or expectations. Apparently this particular camera is just not going to work out for you.
It's time to let this issue go and hope for an update in the future. If it comes, great! But understand, this isn't happening today, tomorrow, or maybe ever.

I do not understand this approach. Did I pay you as much money as you wanted? Was my money false? Was I reluctant to pay? No!!!!
I took the catalog I read that there is a feature that was confirmed in the Hero6 Black version so I ordered and paid for three pieces. I feel cheated that I got such a product and feel cheated by such translations. Since you can not do it, do not brag about such functions. I have already written that because of this you are building a brand of a professional company and you dictate prices as for professional equipment and it is not so! On the occasion of checking cameras in this case, a lot of errors occurred that capture the value of the camera. You hide this and maybe for the ordinary user are irrelevant but for you are a pretext to raise the prestige and price for the equipment. This is called cheat !!!
You see exactly what financial problems you have, how the value of the company is falling. This behavior has an impact on this. I am afraid to think what will happen when you supply equipment for autonomous cars, Jabil is not a small audience like me, with them will not play games anymore. They will put you down for good.
Like Sesion, Karma and the last defeat of Fusion
I do not have a multi-page code of ethics, but I can not imagine to tell the customer that he got a faulty product and I can fix it and maybe not.
The sales market will verify this procedure and sooner or later the company will go bankrupt.
Yes I am frustrated and I feel cheated .... and I will talk about it everywhere and always.

Like said no one twisted your arm. HEro 5 Session is not a Hero 6 black. So it is deffently an improvement over hte Hero Session, and that is where you should be comparing. Your only interest and beef isgoing to beconvincing Dam. gopro already has your $$$ for your 3c ameras plus theHero 6 sell if you areun happy . and gain some of your losses
