This is gonna' sound pretty silly, but I was having the same problem; troubleshoot from printers and devices didn't work BUT a reboot did!
When all else fails, restart your computer.

Hello i have the same problem idk whats happening i think ill have to buy a sd adapter but reading the comments, it seems that this issue has been here for a while in the Hero 5 cameras, hope that Go Pro does something soon.
