GOPRO HERO 8 FLOODED [ New ]

I bought a Gopro Hero 8 Black less than 10 months ago. As advertised the gopro is waterproof up to 10 meters. While snorkeling in less than 3 meters the camera flooded. I have owned many gopros and they have always been reliable up until my Hero 8 Black. Please advise.

So long as the camera door is closed, the HERO8 Black is waterproof down to 10m (33ft) without a housing.
While water damage is usually not covered by the warranty, let our Support Team take a look at what happened.
