GOPRO 7 BLACK - VIDEO FLICKERING ISSUE!!!

Hi all,
I continue to have problems with my GoPro 7 black. There's no secret I'm not a fan of the latest release by GoPro and think it's a complete fail over the previous GoPro 6 black.
I'm experiencing flickering in my videos (see linked video). This is NOT a hyperlapse jerky effect like some people are experiencing in low light. These videos were shot on a bright, sunny day. The flickering is happening primarily in high contrast scenes, with the flickering apparent in the shadows, typically when there is very little movement of the camera itself (i.e. during a slow pan).
I've spent 1/2 hour looking at old footage from my GoPro 6 and I never had this issue with the 6.
Any ideas on what is causing this flickering coz it sucks?
Possibilities:
- Long GOP compression issue with the HEVC H.265 compression - probable
- Hypersmooth issue (due to very fast shutter speed in bright filming conditions) - unlikely
Details of video:
Camera: GoPro 7 black
Compression: HEVC (H265)
Resolution: 4K
Frame rate: 25fps (shooting in PAL)
Hypersmooth: ON
Protune: OFF
White balance: AUTO
Low light: OFF

Completely normal.
You are filming in 4K. Even the DJI cameras at 4K do this. Its more noticable when filming in 4K due to the level of detail you are trying to film.
I am confident that if you film something with much less detail it will not show the 'flicker' you have.
Normal.....chilout and enjoy the GPH7B

As I said, the GoPro 6 never did this.... so while you might be happy to chill out and enjoy your substandard “flicker” videos, I’d prefer to search for a solution. Thanks though for your helpful comments.......

I actually didn't see any flicker at all. Can you point out which area of the video this occurs?
I did notice a slight "moire" pattern in the center, but this was because I was downscaling a 4K video to a 720P and 1080P video size (as per youtube defaults). When I played it at normal 4K resolution it was gone. I tried this on another laptop and the results were almost the same, there was stutter at 4K due to the fact that particular laptop has a slow processor and video card and isn't capable of playing smooth 4k. Image quality was fine though.
Also note that if you're shooting at 25FPS you're not going to get a smooth panning movement, you would need to shoot at a higher frame rate and then use an ND filter to give the final image a more smooth/blended frame rate look.
