Hi guys. For those of you who have received your Gopro Fusion... Issue with gopro app crashing after connection..
Received my long awaited fusion the other day and have been trying to connect to the app. First problem is that the list on the app doesn't even have an option for gopro fusion..hmm
So, I have had to select hero6 black. Connection process is fine.. All paired up etc and the fusion camera now shows in the paired camera list on the app.. Great..
Now when I go to connect, the camera connects but the app crashes every time. I have tried this on 3 devices.. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung S2 Tablet and Samsung galaxy J5. App crashes every time on connection to Fusion..
I've reset connection a bunch of times now, but still no joy..
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?.. if so is there a fix..?
I've never had a problem like this with any of my gopro cameras, 3+, 4 or 5 black..

Yeah it seems odd that there's no fusion option on the Android app.. hmm not good, and the constant crashing is driving me crazy..
Hoping for a fix soon..

Bummer that they haven't rolled out the Fusion capability for Android yet. My guess is the engineers were given a deadline of Nov 24th as this was the official receive by date for pre-orders. I thought the app wasn't going to be available until early 2018. I know some of the functions wont be released until then. It's a shame GoPro started shipping without have at least basic camera operations available.

I have tweeted at GoPro and Abe about the Android app, as well as made a post here in the mobile apps hub. No one will reply. Seriously frustrated that I have to either choose between lugging around my iPad Pro or waiting until I can get to a computer to see what I've shot. Not to mention I've got this beautiful new Pixel XL 2 that I'm dying to use it with. C'mon GoPro, quit leaving us early adopters out to dry.
