I'm shooting video with Protune ON. There seems to be no way of setting the shutter speed.
- Will this be fixed with a firmware update soon?
- If not, is the shutter speed fixed and a constant 1/60 when shooting 30fps?
- Does the camera automatically change it when light is low (slower shutter) or bright (faster shutter)?
I also can't find a setting to change the white balance. Is there going to be a firmware fix for this?
- If not, is there any way to lock the white balance so it won't change when shooting in mixed light conditions?

+1 for this
Ideally we could change everythign in protune - shutter, aperture and ISO. I dont know why this isn't ever possible with GoPro - but is with other cheaper cameras.
Just on the app - within the preview window. We should be able to change these settings.

I have a feeling the pro features won’t happen. Other lower priced cameras have way more manual control and whilst the image quality may be moderatley lower you are at least able to play with settings to maximise the image quality.
The price of the Fusion is a premium price but the camera is at the moment aimed very squarely at consumers rather than prosumer or pro market.
I’ll sit it out and see how much it changes. I have a feeling the development of this camera will slow or stop and go pro as a company will either move onto the next version or just stop to exist as a company.

Just got mine today... and like a fool.. I just ASSUMED it had the most basic of features. No White Balance?? REALLY? No way to set exposure/lock it? No way to set shutter speed? OMG. It’s going back to Amazon tomorrow. I thought this was at least close to having the bare minimum functionality a photographer would need. Just can’t believe it... Sigh
