Fusion studio crashing when opening preferences [ New ]

I'm using Windows 10.  Fusion Studio 1.3 and 1.4 both crash 100% of the time when I try to open the preferences, making it impossible to change the output directory.  Does anyone know of a fix or at least where the preferences are stored locally on Windows so that I can maybe hand edit the location and other preference settings?
