Fusion helmet mount stitching issues

[ Edited ]

Hi Community
I did my first experience with the gopro on the sloaps, mouting the fusion on the helmet.
Was able to create some nice shots, and stitching was almost perfect.
Exept for the helmet itself, there the SW was not really able to stitch it correctly:

How can this be avoided for the future?

Thank you and best regards

He said it was basically tied on. The best way to mount the fusion is at a distance similar to the length of the Fusion Grip to avoid those stitch lines.

Re: Fusion helmet mount stitching issues

Hi @efracken,

How do you have the camera mounted to the helmet? The closer you have it mounted to the helmet the more pronounced that stitch line will be.

There is some good mounting tips in abe kislevitz's fusion post!

Best,

Re: Fusion helmet mount stitching issues

@ryanv12566 Thanks for the article, do you know how it attached it to the stick?

In his article he did not mention helmet at all, I used the regular helmet mount that comes with the fusion, attached it on top of my helmet, thats it ;-) Is it not intentended to work like this?
