Fusion compatibility

Does anyone know if there are any updates in the works for the GoPro fusions device compatability in the future? For like android tablets?

Two things that we do know.

First, GoPro is working on a new mobile app. They tend to favor Apple products because it's a closed system and easier to develop for, but the new app will be Android compatible.

Second, GoPro is releasing a new spherical camera later this year.

With the above in mind, hopefully Fusion will benefit from both the new app, and advancements made with the new camera.

Either way that would entail purchasing new devices and/or cameras right?

Not necessarily. If they redesign the app, hopefully there will be more devices compatible for Fusion.

If the new Spherical camera also comes with better rendering software, hopefully that will also work with Fusion.

GoPro has already released Beta software and updates for Fusion. Most likely this is for the new spherical camera, but they are using Fusion to test it.
