Fusion Battery drains while turned off.
[ New ]I bought GoPro Fusion two days ago. I recharged it, but it was not able to recharge more than 78%. Next day, I tried to turn it on and the battery was 0%. It was off for more than 8 hours. I think something is wrong with your product. You know it is not a CHEAP camera.

Re: Fusion Battery drains while turned off.
[ New ]As far as your battery issue:
1) What SD cards are you using? Make sure they are on this list https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations#list2
(same make/model/size as listed)
2) Run a MANUAL update (even if you are on the latest firmware)
https://gopro.com/update/fusion
3) After running the update, reset the camera and format the SD in the camera
4) Be sure to use a wall charger and not a computer USB slot
Charger output: 5V 1-2A
Charging time (fully drained battery): ≈3.5 hours (2 hours with Supercharger)
How to charge: Ensure that the camera & "Connections" are powered off. Connect the USB cable to the wall adapter and camera; a red LED should illuminate on the front of the camera (side with the LCD screen) to indicate charging. Once the LED turns off, the camera is fully charged.
Resetting Fusion
Press the Mode button (side) to power on your camera.
Press the Mode button repeatedly until the Settings icon (wrench) appears; press the Shutter button (front) to enter Settings.
Press the Shutter button five times to bring up the Preferences settings.
Press the Mode button repeatedly, until "RESET" is highlighted at the bottom of the list, then press the Shutter button to select.
Press the Mode button to highlight "RESET," then press the Shutter button to confirm and restore the camera to Factory Settings.
Sometimes it takes a few discharges and full recharges for the batteries to be fully conditioned for best use.
If you are still having issues, try different, known good SD cards. You should only purchase name brand SD cards through reputable resellers, and using cards that are the same make, model and capacity. There are both counterfeit and underperforming SD cards out in the marketplace, which can prevent proper functioning of your Fusion's features.

Re: Fusion Battery drains while turned off.
[ New ]Thanks for your feedback. SD cards are fully supported. SanDisk microSDHC UHS-I card with "Works with GoPro" labeled on the packages. I did try with the wall chargers.
I will try resetting to the factory default and see how it goes.

Re: Fusion Battery drains while turned off.
[ New ]Good to know that the camera is working properly after a factory reset. It would also be advisable to do a Manual Update of the camera. You may find the instruction for the manual update via the link: https://gopro.com/update/fusion
After the update, it would be best to format the SD Cards directly in the camera.
I hope these help.

Hi @mediapix
Please try resetting the camera to its factory settings.
If it's still the same, you may proceed with the manual update
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
