First of all I don't know who "sweetjump4773" is. It's not me but it's got my email address listed so I don't even care at this point. I'm with the guy that posted that he was fed up with the GoPro. Me too. I bought this last year in June so of course, the manufacturer's warranty is over and Best Buy isn't going to do anything because I didn't buy their warranty. First, the door to the ports comes off and I can't get it replaced because I can't read the number inside the battery well that GoPro support asked me for and can only replace if they have it (manufacturer's number?) so I just make sure not to use it around water. I haven't even used it that much in the time that I've had it. I bought it to document the last day's of my beloved dog that died of cancer and then put it up only to use it for the occasional holiday or birthday. Now it's frozen. The touch screen isn't responsive. I'm sooo frustrated!

The id is generated when signing in.
You can have it changed through gopro.com
Once logged it, go to Account> Settings. You can change your nickname once per hour.
The side door which covers the charging port is removable.
