My wife bought me a new Hero 5 about 10 months ago. I've used the camera 3 times in the last 10 months, all in a swimming pool. this weekend after i used it in the pool, the front LCD leaked. I know it's suppose to be waterproof uptil 10m but i was knowhere near that depth. I've watched quite a few youtube clips where people had similair problems with their new Hero 5, so my LCD leak is not a unique situation. This is my third Gopro camera since gopro has launched its cameras and i've always taken good care of all my gopro equipment.
I've seen some of the responses from Gopro to people's questions and a lot of the responses seems to be that the owner has "misused" the camera. I can assure you that this is not the case in my situation.
Unfortunately my wife threw the slip away which now means I've "lost" my warranty. That said, is there anything Gopro is willing to do to help regarding my front LCD leak?
I look forward to hearing from you.

I am sorry to hear about the water damaged camera. Although you no longer have the receipt our Support Team may be able to help. Sometimes they can also use a bank statement showing the purchase of the camera as well. It is best to get in touch and explain what happened! https://gopro.com/help/ContactUs
