Forgot to Turn Off [ New ]

So I put my gopro in my bag and i forgot to turn it off and after a few hours when i go get my gopro in my bag its turned on and its so hot not super hot and its now 30% battery from 100% battery when i put it in my bag, can that damage my gopro?

No. Keep other things clear or put GoPro in a separate soft pouch.  I keep mine in the pocket. The heat reminded me my camera was on in 10 minutes time. Otherwise a depleted battery. No damage can be done. Unless carelessness is done
