Fix GoPro Hero 6 connected to Periscope (iOS) while recording

The GoPro Hero 6 works (sends a wifi video signal) to Periscope (on iOS only), but as soon as I hit the record button on the Hero 6 it seems to affect the wifi connection to Periscope and the GoPro video appears "jerky" on Periscope.

This happens on both my iPhone 6s and iPhone X.

The moment I stop recording on the Hero 6, the smooth video returns to Periscope.

Can GoPro resolve the "jerky video issue" once the record button is pressed on Hero 6 when connected to Periscope?

Thanks

Re: Fix GoPro Hero 6 connected to Periscope (iOS) while recording

Hello @plegilink

Does your HERO6 Camera play videos fine (recorded or live, real-time view) when paired with a mobile device through GoPro App? The jerky video might be caused by interference in Wi-Fi signal used for connecting to the GoPro  app, and mobile data used for connecting to Periscope. Does it matter how fast the data connection is? As Periscope is a third-party application, you may also want to check with Periscope support to find out if there are setting that could be setup in order to clear out the jerky video.

Best regards,

Marius
