Feeding 2 inputs into GoPro hero 7 black audio adapter

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to connect two sources of input into the gopro hero 7 audio adapter (I have to specific gopro adapter). One source will come from my computer (so Line In) and the other will come from a lapel microphone. My goal is to have both sources of audio on the gopro video recording. I've tried using a direct microphone input splitter, but I think the impedance mismatch is an issue. I've also tried to connect a microphone and line in source to a mixer, but can only hear the computer sounds I play on the GoPro recording (not the mic). Has anyone else used a computer input and a microphone input simultaneously to wrtite audio to the video?  Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
