Faulty Hero 5 - replacement needed

I purchased my hero 5 in December 2017, it has been working well but I have just purchased a karma grip and it fails to connect to the grip. It will not connect direct to my PC and will not charge.
I have not used the USB connection directly before as I have a battery charger and always use WiFi to connect. Looks like this connection has never worked. Please send me instructions on how to return and receive a new camera
