FUSION, splited big video

Hi there,

I have some issues with my recordings, maybe someone can help me. I have recorded an inteview with my gopro (about 24 minutes) and I have noticed that the go pro made several files of the big video (010032, 020032, etc.) and ALSO files like 0032. but for the small files the .TMH file is missing!

When I try to import the files into the fusion studio, the video 0032 is working (using the 7 files in 2 different forlders front and back) BUT the small files (GB010032, GF010032, GB020032, GF020032, etc.) is not working. The problem is that I cannot import those files, the software telling me "Some files were not imported (218)"

Here you can see my 2 rushs folders, BACK and FRONT

Thank you for your help!

Vincent

Re: FUSION, splited big video

Hello @vdevevey

The splitting of the video file maybe related to file chaptering which the camera automatically does. You can read more about it here: GoPro Camera File Chaptering Information

A 218 error indicates that some shots or footage are incoherent elements and therefore cannot be imported. If you have not done so yet, try a manual update on your Fusion camera. You can follow the instructions below as guide:

  1. Go to the Fusion update page.
  2. Under "Other ways to update" at the base of the page, click "Update your camera manually."
  3. Enter your Serial Number and other requested information, click Next Step.
  4. Click "Download Update."
  5. Click "Click here to download firmware."
  6. Follow the steps on the screen for detailed instructions for your operating system.

NOTE: In some instances, it can take up to ≈15 minutes for the first portion of the Fusion update ("1/2" on the camera's screen) to complete and progress to the next step ("2/2"). Please do not remove your camera's battery or SD cards during this time.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
Marius
