FIrst time user to Gopro Hero5
[ New ]HI , My gopro Hero5 when i want to view the clips using the camera . It will be super laggy that it hang(i think it hang cos I have to restart the camera)
to view it thru the aps on my iphone is even worst.
IT may or might link and the downloading process will take so long , either the phone or the camera will run out of battery life.
and the camera will get super hot in this process . Is that normal ?
I use the xd card as stated .
Was wondering is this normal ?
if it is any way to overcome this issue cos its tiring to wait till I synch to my laptop to view only to realise the photo/vedio is not to what i thought it would be .
Thank you

[ New ]thank you. that is a good card lets take all the stuff save it to a computer, then do this.
Format the card as shown wil ltake 3 minutes then do a quick and then do it in the camera. once you did all that. the problem may clear if not report back.

Re: FIrst time user to Gopro Hero5
[ New ]glad you go it resolved. some high fives would be appreciated. remember to once in a blue moon to fully format, not all the time and always format after each camera use and new day filming after you dump and save footage takes 30 seconds done.
PEACE FISH

Re: FIrst time user to Gopro Hero5
[ New ]Seems some of hte issues that you are having is :
The gopro will always take time to download to a smartphone wirelessly, and through a usb. The camera gets hot coz the card is working and buffering and making gopro heat up. If you use the camera and computer and transfer your files things run smoother if IF you are par on with your system. Like said you used a card that is recommended. you used wiify ttansfer, etc. etc..

[ New ]https://gopro.com/help/articles/block/microSD-Card-Considerations
match your card to this list then get back to @danielr15 he may take the time to explain to you why that card is not going to be top notch.
