You need to tell your customers that this is a BIG PROBLEM. So many people are losing precious moments and memories, or footage for their livelihood, because you won't tell people that this is a problem and to stop using QuickCapture with external mics. CMON!

on here there is a reminder , no firmware for the Hero 5 cameras or on the app sorry its called Futurefirmwre in themaking yet to see it by October

I've just tried this with firmware v2.51 and wifi disabled (apparently it could have something to do) and the first capture works, it records the audio from the external mic, but if I try a second recording it stops working...

I know... I don't know how to deal with this and don't understand how GoPro is taking so long to fix it. I consider this a basic feature, we just want to record the audio...
I'm even thinking about downgrading the firmware or something like that....
