Defective HERO7 Black blurry video [ New ]

Recently bought HERO7 Black and it just wont focus.

Stabilization ON

Protune OFF

I've tried the video in:

4k/30fps W

2.7k/30fps W

1080/60fps L and W

Nothing seems to work. The horizon is blurry, anything upclose is in focus.

I've tried factory reset several times, cleaned the lens, Protune on/off. Nothing seems to work. I have a HERO4 and have had no issues like this. Please help.

Hello, @jackc3326. Will you be able to post as a sample photo or clip showing the issue? Also, have you been able to update the camera to the most recent firmware?

I've already contacted tech support and have determined that the unit is defective. I have sent the unit back under an RMA. Thanks.
