Damaged lens GoPro Max

[ New ]

One of the lenses on my GoPro Max is scratched. Can this be repaired or do I need a camera replacement?

How do I organise this? Thanks

The GoPro Max Lenses cannot be repaired, to prevent from scratching you should use the protective lens covers.

You can use your GoPro Plus subscription to exchange your camera for a new one for a small replacement fee.  You can find out more details here:

Confirmed. This was a learning lesson for me.  My camera simply toppled over in the wind, but it was sitting on a rock. So even though the fall was only a few inches, it scratched the lens.   Nobody likes scratches, but this camera in particular needs to be scratch free because its stiches the 2 views together, so it will interpret the scratch as part of your footage and will stitch accordingly, creating artifacting even worse than it actually is.

As irishmanpdx explains, they'll swap out this for you with the subscription package.
