Damaged gopro

Hello, 

 

We purchased a GoPro Hero Black less than a year ago. We are having so many problems with it. When we charge it to 100% it will die within a couple minutes. Sometimes it will take mintues to turn on. We have only used it a handful of times. What steps do we need to take so we can get this resolved.

@failisiaa175 - A few things to check out. First, you'll want to make sure that the SD card you are using with your GoPro is compatible with the camera. Our list of recommended cards is at https://community.gopro.com/t5/en/SD-Cards-that-Work-with-GoPro-Cameras/ta-p/394308. If you have another card on that list, please try that one.

 

Also, you'll want to make sure that the camera's firmware is up to date. We recommend doing a manual update on the camera to do this. You can find instructions on how to do a manual update on the page for your specific model on our Update page at https://gopro.com/en/us/update.

You may f ill a form out at gopro.com/contacctus then chose chat or  phone.  Have papers ready the reciept, a photo and email addresses. and request a replacement.
