DOUBLE IMAGES IN PICTURES

Good Day,

Whenever I used regular photo capturing in gopro. Most images are like the attached image.

But in Burst mode.. no sign of distortion/double images.

Re: DOUBLE IMAGES IN PICTURES

Hi @todskieph

Thank you for letting us know. Since HDR takes several images, making sure that the camera is stable is key to avoid double images as this helps keep the frames from shifting between shots. Using a tripod or a mount is recommended.

Regardless of the camera model, both HDR and ProTune are great features when used with the right settings. Continue to explore different settings to see what works for you best.

Regards,

EJ

Re: DOUBLE IMAGES IN PICTURES

Hi @todskieph

This might be related to HDR where it captures multiple images of varying exposures and combines them into a single properly exposed photo. There is a tendency to get a "double image" if the subject is moving.

I suggest to try some test photos while Protune is off to see if it gives you the same results.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

EJ

Re: DOUBLE IMAGES IN PICTURES

Hello EJ, I disabled HDR and the double images are gone. I also tried Turning off ProTune and HDR is On, the double images are gone. Thank you for the idea. Is Hero6 not well with both HDR and ProTune enabled?
