DCIM turned out to be DCIM.Ink file

Hi Gopro team:

I actually found an exact same question on other page(as the content below), and I think this person asked the same question to Gopro Support Hub, but somehow I can't see the details and soultions.

"I am trying to copy my photos from a GoPro micro SD card into my external drive, using an MicroSD usb and a Mac. Unfortunately the DCIM file turned out to be a DCIM.Ink file, and thus the folder is not accessible. Is there a way to fix it? Please note that I used the same MicroSD usb and Mac for another GoPro micro SD card and it worked perfectly."

Please help, thanks.

Re: DCIM turned out to be DCIM.Ink file

Hello @kuanyuc1

You will have to connect your camera to a computer and manually transfer the GoPro files from the computer to your external hard drive.

Importing the GoPro files to your computer could be done in two ways: (1) using Quik for dekstop, and (2) manually moving the files through an SD card adapter.

On Quik for desktop, you can set the import location by going to Settings and adding a new media folder or location.

Hope this helps!

Best,

Marius
